This is the entrance foyer of the new house in our recent video, but what does that mean? Are you entering through the front door or the foyer? I am surprised that the chairs in the entry foyer are new. I would have thought they were from the previous home. I know that the foyer is a part of the house where guests can walk into the home and get to the entry. I wonder if there is a reason for them to be new.
The layout of the foyer is a bit sketchy, but it’s really very simple. There are two main rooms: a large main room with a bath and a separate hall which has a large parlor for the staff. The rooms have a nice, spacious, and welcoming feel to them, so I would expect that the main room has a smaller, more inviting area. But on top of the larger hall there’s a small, but separate entrance to the hall next door.
Well, with the addition of the parlor, it’s a bit of a stretch to imagine that the space is completely separate from the main space. So the main room may actually be a bit more spacious than I thought. The parlor is a bit more spacious than the hall though. I’m not sure about the size of the hall, but I’m a bit confused by how small it is.
When you open the door to the main room of the main hall, there’s a view of the parlor from the other side, and a little bit of a privacy feel to it. There’s also a small view of the main room. It’s one of the more spacious rooms in our house.
